Waffle breakfast


I’m almost on my way out, but I wanted to share a picture of our breakfast. We had waffles! I love waffles. Since we didn’t have milk, I tried a recipe with water, and they turned out really nice!

This is the recipe I used:

3 eggs

3 tbs sugar

4 dl water

100 grams of butter

1 ts bakingpowder

1 ts vanillasugar

0,5 ts kardemom

250-300 grams of flower (I used half white flour and half whole wheat flour).

I started with melting the butter, and while that meltet I mixed the eggs ans sugar in a bowl. Then I added the water and butter, before adding all the dry ingrediens. Very simple! I just let it sit for 5-10 minutes, before cooking them in the waffle iron and then we ate them with jam and sour cream. Very Norwegian. Bye!
